Leprechaun Lunch for the Lads and Lassies

We have been dealing with a little stomach bug
around here
(Ew!),
so our St. Patty's Day activities
have been a bit slow coming.

Yesterday everybody seemed to be doing a lot better,
so I decided to serve...
...a wee little leprechaun lunch for
all the lads and lassies of the house.

The menu included:
 Rainbow fruit salad
 Leprechaun chicken nuggets
with a side of ketchup
and a cheese stick
The leprechaun's hat was made out of a cucumber
and a cheese square.

Pot 'o gold Cheetos
and a
St. Patty's Day Snack Cake
from Little Debbie
for desset

While the kiddos ate...
...I read them a leprechaun story
(using my best Irish accent, of course!).
Hopefully this lucky lunch
will keep anymore unwanted germs
from coming our way!

Despicable Me 2 Week: Breakfast for a Good, Good Day

 As a final farewell
to our Despicable Me 2 Week
(check out all the activities we did by clicking HERE),
I fed the kiddos a...
...Despicable Me 2 themed breakfast.

On the Menu:
Toast with Gru's Jams and Jellies
(Pop Tarts cut into the shape of a "G")
 Evil Minion Colored Grapes
 Minion Ba-Na-Naaaas!
 Dr. Nafario's Orange Juice Potion

With a breakfast like this...
...we did NOT have a bad, bad day,
that's for certain!  ;0)

Springy Meal Time

 The Friday before Easter,
I decided to pull together
a muffin tin meal for this kiddos.
The meal consisted of:
 Mandarin Oranges
 Carrots and Dip
(with a chick on the side)  ;0)
 Chicken Nuggets and Ketchup
Cheese Balls, otherwise known as
Cotton Tails
and
Milk with a special Egg Straw

By their smiles...
 ...and goofy...
 ...goofy...
 ...behavior...
...I do believe they enjoyed the meal!

Ghostie Lunch

It has been a
L-O-N-G time
since I have done a
"fun" lunch for the kiddos.

So, I thought that while I was doing the
"G is for Goofy Ghost" unit
with Smiley B...
...a Muffin Tin Meal would be a
perfect addition to all our ghostie fun!
 The meal consisted of:
 Ghostie Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
 Halloween Colored Tortilla Chips
Grapes to be eaten with a Black Pom-Pom Toothpick
a Ghost Nutterbutter Cookie
and "Ghost Colored" Milk

I don't know who has been goofy this week-
the ghost in our lessons...
...or the kiddos!
