Wowee-Zowee!
This has been one fun-filled,
B-U-S-Y
week and weekend,
which is why
I am posted my weekly wrap-up
late...
Our Homeschooling activities were Easter focused
this past week, including:
in celebration of Palm Sunday
AND
5. Jesus' RESURRECTION!!!

On Thursday,
we took a special field trip to see
a local high school production of
"The Sound of Music."
Even though the musical was about
three hours long,
the kiddos really enjoyed it-
especially since several teen and kiddos
from our church
were in the production.
(ALL of them did such a
BEAUTIFUL job in the
performance!)

Good Friday
we
shopped 'til we dropped with Marmee
(my mother),
getting everyone some new
Easter duds
and
other Spring/Summer essentials.
The kiddos did really well
considering we were out for
5 hours-
thank goodness for a fully-charged
iPad!

Finally,
on Friday evening,
my hubby and kiddos all helped me
stuff around 300-400
Easter Eggs full of sweets
for our annual
Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.
We were all up late,
but I really believe this was a good way
for us all to practice
community service-
and I think it made the kiddos appreciate
the candy they found the next day
MUCH more... ;0)
