Highlights from this week include:
*Finishing up all our fun
Monsters University Week
activities
(Please read all about 'em by clicking HERE...)
*Went with our
homeschooling in the 'hood friends
to see Monsters University
It was EXCELLENT!
I highly recommend this family friendly flick,
especially if you loved the first movie.
(And in case you start feeling nostalgic about
college after seeing the movie,
make sure you visit the
Monsters University collegiate website-
it is a RIOT!)
*Put up the Summer bulletin board
for our
Parents Day Out program
at church
(Read more about that HERE...)
*Got the house all cleaned up for
4th of July family guests
*Spent a day playing in a tub of water
with all my little kiddos
*Picked some wildflowers
*Had to help make the decision to
CANCEL
our 4th of July neighborhood parade
due to the predicted rain :0(
*Had a lovely birthday dinner in honor of my husband
with his parents at our favorite
"hole in the wall" restaurant,
The Little Italian Kitchen
He and my father
(and Tom Cruise, coincidentally)
were all born on July 3rd.
Super Dad turned 41 this year,
and my father turned 59.
5+9=14,
the reversal of 41.
Freakishly,
their ages always match up in some way
every year.
Crazy cool, huh? :0)
