Day 2 of our
Monsters University Week
...the thespian spirit in all the kiddos.
First, I read...
by
Ed Emberley and Anne Miranda
to the kiddos,
and we discussed feelings during the book.
Then the kiddos made monster puppets...
...using the following supplies.
Though most of the kiddos used
dusters from
The Dollar Tree
for the puppet bodies...
...others used these talking puppet forms
I had left over
from a neighborhood movie night.
(You can learn how to make these puppet forms
by clicking HERE...)
There were a total of 17 people
working in the dining room and kitchen
on their puppets,
and I must say,
it was really quite fun...
Just look at the final results! :0)
After the puppets were all put together,
it was time to put on some
Monster Puppet Shows!
Thank you for watching,
and we hope you enjoyed the show!
Stay tuned for more Monster Fun
coming back tomorrow...

Those dusters make the most awesome monster puppets! What a great idea! I'd love it if you'd share this (and your other amazing ideas) at the After School Linky Party on my blog each Monday: deceptivelyeducational.blogspot.com. Thanks, Amber!
