Monsters University Week: Monster Games

Today during our Monsters University Week celebration,
we played...
...lots of Monsters Games!

First I read...
...Maurice Sendak's
Where the Wild Things Are,
and then it was time for the
wild rumpus to begin...

Game #1:
Eyeball Walk Relay

(Played just like an egg relay,
but with ping pong balls painted like eyeballs
instead of eggs.)

Game #2
Mike Wazowski Knock Down
The kiddos took turns
throwing wiffle balls at green cups
covered with Mike's trade mark eyeball,
trying to knock them all down...

(And some kiddos didn't even need to throw
the ball to knock the cups down...) ;0)

Game #3
Hide and Seek Monsters

Using this cute clip art
I purchased from
...I created some monster cards
for the kiddos to find...
...after they were hidden...
...throughout the yard.

Game #4
Bounce the Balloon Monster

Using shortened pool noodles...
...the kiddos had to bounce their balloons
in the air as long as they could in order to win.

Since all the kiddos were good sports...
...I gave them silly Monster mouths
from
as prizes..

I am now ready to take a nap... ;0)

Check back in tomorrow for more
Monsters University craziness...
