Saturday

December 8th-15th

We interrupt our regularly scheduled
Christmas fun
for a big boy birthday...
Highlights from the week:

*Went to the Plasma Center this week
and tried to give plasma.

Turns out my veins aren't good enough
good enough for them...geez...  ;0)

*Finished up our Gingerbread learning fun
by making a gingerbread house with the kiddos

*Continued finding our elf, Chess, in the most
interesting places

*Went over to my Mom's and took home a few more
"treasures" she was getting rid of-
man,
those Dutch wooden shoes
bring back memories

*Went on a field trip to see a local production of
"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"-
it was ADORABLE!

*Last,
but not least,
we celebrated Little Wild Man's
7th birthday-
on 12/12/12!

(It seems like my kiddos need a month
to celebrate their birthdays...)

We did a special little breakfast
and dinner
for Little Wild Man
(an NO homeschool)
on his actual birthday.

His "family party" will not occur until
next week,
and his "friend party"
won't happen until the beginning of January.

There are just so many people who love
on my kiddos it seems that all their birthdays
end up this way.

And that's fine by me.

It just means more cake...

Yummmmm....  ;0)

  1. Happy birthday to your wild man! It was fun to have a birthday on 12/12/12 and I know what you mean about so many people loving on yoru kids so that their birthdays last a long time. I LOVE that. I cooked 2 birthday dinners this week and had one birthday outing and spend the night.

Life is good, my friend :-)

  2. Happy 7th Birthday! At least you tried to give plasma! I love your Dutch wooden shoes. I am envious! My hubby is going to be in your area this week as my son has a doctor's appointment in your city.
