wiww and Weekend Wear: From a Houseful to Silence

This was a busy week
(surprise, surprise!),
so I didn't get a pic from everyday.

But here's what I did get...

***************************************

Friday:
"Oh Mickey You're So Fine"
Outfit
This shirt is a reminder of our trip to
Disney World last year...
...and my hair HAD to be up in
"Micky Mouse Ears,"
of course.

Saturday:
Celebrate Cheryl
Outfit

I helped with the worship at a
friend's funeral today.

(PLEASE hear more about Cheryl
HERE.)

After the funeral,
I changed...
"Bring on the Kiddos"
Outfit

We had a sleepover Saturday evening,
hosting a total of 7 kiddos
under the age of 10.

Watching "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"
made the night extra fun!

Sunday:
Flowers, Flowers, Flowers
Outfit

I wore this outfit to church...
I love the two-toned coloring of this dress!
My chocolate pearl necklace and earrings
were a gift from my husband one Christmas.
(Ain't he sweet?)

The flower pin I chose to wear in a more
unconventional way...
Anytime I want to change a pin
into a hair piece,
I use one of these handy-dandy hair clips.
Easy-peasy!

Sunday afternoon and evening
Nap Today!
Outfit

My kiddos left today to spend the week
with their Nana and Papa,
so I took a NAP!

Ahhhh- it was lovely....

Now I am childless for the week,
which means I will be working
on projects around the house,
(keeping myself busy so I don't get lonely)
and enjoying the silence...

  2. I had to come over here and leave a comment. I saw your picture of you in your wonder woman outfit. We must be around the same age because I had the same one! I have my picture in my bedroom even. LOL

  4. I love your floral dress! How fun to have a kid-free week! It will go by fast, but you'll probably be ready for them to come home!
