Back-to-School Breakfast 2010

This past Saturday,
our neighborhood held it's
2nd Annual Back-to-School
Breakfast.

In an effort to get the kiddos used to
getting up early again,
the breakfast starts at 7am.

Since it's so early...
...everyone is encouraged
to come in their PJ's.

(Yup, I am the proud owner of
Elmo slippers!)

The menu consisted of
Krispie Kreme doughnuts,
orange slices,
and water to drink.
(Super Dad was so thrilled to be up...
can't ya tell?)

(Look at this kiddo's shirt-
reminds me of the Shel Silverstein poem
"Sister for Sale")

***********************************************

After the kiddos ate...
...it was time to get crafty!
I found this pencil topper idea
on WhiMsy Love-
it was perfect for this occasion!

******************************************

The morning turned out to be a successful
wake-up call for...
...kiddos...
...cainines...
...teens...
...and sleepy parents!

Aren't they pur-tee?

  1. What a neat neighborhood tradition! Though, I'm not so sure I'd want to see, or be seen by, any of our neighbors, in PJ's :)
