Friday

March 10th-16th

This week
was just,
well...
 ...SUPER!!!

********************************************

It all began with a tween church retreat
called

We loaded up
one church van,
one church bus,
and two other vehicles
with 30+
4th and 5th graders
(and 14 adult sponsors)
on Friday afternoon.

This event was Jungle Girl's
1st "church trip"
other than camp,
and I do believe she had a
BLAST!

This is my 3rd time
at Super Start as a sponsor,
and my first time going
also as a parent,
and I really enjoyed
"seeing"
the event...
 ...through my daughter's eyes.

This year's theme,
"What Am I Made For?"
centered around
Romans 11:36,
which says,

"For from Him and through Him are all things.
To Him be the glory forever.
Amen."

*********************************************

Among the Biblical ideas that were discussed
was a
Mad Science Lab,
full of crazy science "tricks"...
ZQkDqc on Make A Gif, Animated Gifs
 ...like this...

With all the fun at the conference,
you would think we wouldn't need to provide
any other stimulation for the kiddos,
but,
we DID,
by staying at

AWESOMENESS.

To make our stay at the lodge even
MORE entertaining,
an Anime Convention
was going on while we were there.

EVEN-MORE-AWESOMENESS.

I have  never been more entertained by
people watching in my life...

After such a crazy-fun weekend,
AND losing an hour of sleep
Saturday night,
we took Monday off from school.

I was so tired...

So,
Homeschooling was a bit shorter this week,
but we still were able to:

*Do some St. Patty's Day writing
*Learn about Venus and her Volcanoes
*Put together our Lenten Tree

AND Jungle Girl FINISHED her

Division,
Here we come!

Can you see why we had such a
SUPER good week?
