Day 7
began with our silly little elf
waiting for the kiddos...
...with three dapper looking friends.
The Nutcrackers were gifts for the kiddos...
...in order to prepare them for the evening's festivities...
...a local production of
The Nutcracker on Ice.
We went to support our
Mimi...
Mimi...
She is the girl on the right.
We also went to support her sister,
but my camera battery DIED
at the beginning of the performance...
*SIGH*

Since we had such a busy day yesterday,
we combined yesterday and today's
advent activities into one lesson.
First, we read Mary's Song
and discussed the reasons Mary
had to praise God.
Then...
...using old CD's...
...sequins...
...and glue...
...the kiddos created the day's
ornament...
...as a reminder of Mary's praises.
