Container Garden for the Less-Than-Green Thumbed- One Month Update

Okey-dokey folks,
here's my monthly
"Container Garden for the Less-Than-Green Thumbed"
update...

(You can see how we started it all by clicking HERE.)

In one month...
...we have plants!
Yahoo!
The Basil...
...and the Cherry Tomatoes...
...and the mini Sunflowers
are starting to sprout...
Well, ALMOST all of them...

One of the Sunflowers didn't make it.

Still, so far so good for our little
Container Garden.

Oh, and the kiddos' grass boxes?
Nice and full and lush...
...and enjoying...
...their first haircuts!
We also really enjoy being able to see the roots system
through the clear boxes...

Next month these little plantlings should
have new homes in bigger containers...

Until them, head on over to the
HSV Garden Challenge #2
and check out how everyone's plants are growing...

  2. Maybe I should try this. My thumb is a very deep purple - nowhere near green.

  3. I like those clear boxes. We may try starting some of our seeds next year in those so we can see the roots grow.
