December 31st Randomness...

Here is what The Fantastic Five did
to wrap-up 2010...

*******************************************************

First, after my husband let me sleep in and leisurely
get ready for the day,
(He is all KINDS of nice)
we headed to Khol's so I could spend some Khol's cash...
...on some really fun jewelry.

(I will not be surprised if it ends being featured on
my version of this week's
Bejeweled Wednesdays and
what i wore wednesday...)

*****************************************************

After shopping, we broke in our new
Zoo membership with a quick visit.

I enjoyed spending time...
...looking...
...at some of...
...the cool critters...
...with three of MY favorite critters.

**************************************************

A Little Side Note:
I think I need to keep my eye on one of the goats in the
Petting Zoo.
She was SWOONING
(as well as a goat can swoon)
while my husband was brushing her.

Keep your hooves to yourself, girl...

**************************************************

After a bit...
...of playtime...
...we headed off to our next destination...
(after visiting the Rest Room, of course)

***************************************************

Turns out that that destination...
...was our church-
to use the bathroom-
again.

(Gotta love the bladder of a preschooler...)

****************************************************

When we finally...
...got back on the highway,
we drove a bit...
...and turned off onto a road...
...and continued turning off onto more country roads...
...until we finally reached...
...my good friend Piecelove's house.
We enjoyed a fun evening of
eating, fireworks, Chicken Foot, and knitting
until the clock struck midnight,
when I promptly kissed my husband
so he would forget the goat...

*************************************************

I hope y'all had a lovely last day of 2010...

  1. Looks like you had a great New Years' Eve! I'm just stopping by to say that I'll be your mentor for this session of B90 Days (I was already following your blog).

  2. We got a zoo membership for this year as well. Have not been down there yet, although I really thought about it! Was it very busy?

Retro, no, it wasn't very busy.
