O Christmas Tree...

Today was an evergreen kinda day...

I read...
...The Pine Tree Parable
by
Liz Curtis Higgs
to the kiddos today.

Then, we played...
..."Draw a Christmas Tree,"
which can be found by clicking HERE.
The best part of the game was when the kiddos
rolled the number six...
...and had to sing a Christmas Carol!

(At first, Little Wild Man was the only one who
would sing,
but the girls finally loosened up and
joined in the fun...)
This is Jungle Girl's tree,
all decorated for Christmas....

Later in the day,
using inspiration I took from
Little Page Turners...
...and Crayola's Window Markers...
...I "set up" trees on the windows
for the kiddos to decorate.
(We will be decorating tomorrow,
since the kiddos got distracting watching
"The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe"
on DisneyXD...)

During the movie,
we all enjoyed...
...some Rice Krispie Christmas Tree snacks.

A sweet way to end the day...

To see what others have been
doing to celebrate the holidays,
head on over to
Holiday Bliss 2010...

  4. I love all your activities. The window looks really fun and the rice Krispie treats- yum! We don't get much snow here, so it looks so pretty out your window to me.
