"Boxes"

One activity the kiddos
often play with their friends has been
named "Boxes" by them...

Basically, each child has a box
or container of some sort that
has been transformed into a house,
with the help of markers, painter's tape,
fabric scraps, etc.

Sure, my front porch may look like a
tornado hit it,
but if you could just come down a bit and look
at it from a different angle...

...you would be entering an entirely different
universe...

...one in which houses are full of color...

...and you can enter them through
magical streamers.

This world welcomes all who enter
in peace...

...whether you are a powerful dragon...

...cutie-pie critter...

...fairy...

...or squishy reptile.

And, if you stay long enough,
you might be surprised at the interactions
that go on amongst such creatures...

Just look at this:

A ferociously fierce dragon
has become the watch dog
for these whimsical thoroughbreds...

Perhaps "Boxes" is a little bit of
heaven here on Earth...
