"Squeaky Clean" Angel Ornament Tutorial

This past Sunday, my 1st grader Sunday School class made angel ornaments after hearing about the angel Gabriel appearing to Mary (Luke 1:26-38).

I remember coming across someone's web page in which she created an angel using part of a bath poof, so I decided to create my own version of this craft. I call it the "Squeaky Clean" Angel Ornament.
You will need the following supplies to create the ornament:
Bath Poof
Doily
Clothespin
Pipe Cleaner
Heart Shaped Foam Stickers
String
Scissors
Craft Glue
Fine Tipped Permanent Marker
Step 1:
Take a piece of string and tie it into a loop.
Step 2:
Cut the bath poof a part. The cut it into 3"-4" sections.

Step 3:
Take one of the sections and pinch and twist it in the middle.
Step 4:
Pinch open the clothespin and put in the loop and then the bath poof section. Now your angel has wings and an ornament hanger.

Step 5:
Fold the doily into four sections.
Step 6:
Cut the doily a part...
into four sections.

Step 7:
Glue a doily section on the front of the clothespin and the back of the clothespin to "dress" the angel's body.
Step 8:
Stick the foam hearts upside down on the clothespins to form the angel's head. Make sure to put one on the front and back of the clothespin.
Step 9:
Snip off a small section of the pipe cleaner and form it into a circle. Glue the circle around the hearts to create the angel's halo.
Step 10:
Use the marker to draw a face on one of the hearts and your angel ornament is complete!
