Since today Little Wild Man was at Preschool, the girls and I began working on their Thanksgiving lapbooks as part of Thanksgiving Palooza 2009.
Before diving into all the fun activities, we watched a video clip about the first Thanksgiving and how it became a national holiday at History.com.

I then read "Let's Find Out About Thanksgiving" by Martha and Charles Shapp.
Jungle Girl then read "The First Thanksgiving Book" aloud to Baby Girl, which will be part of their lap books.
