Highlights from this past week include:
*Celebrating the opening of the
Sochi Winter Olympics
at our Lemonhead Homeschool Group
We made
and
had some fun snacks.
It totally got us in the mood
to watch the opening ceremonies
on Friday evening.
*Began keeping track of the
Olympic medal count
with
THESE printables
*Used duct tape and garbage bags
to create a temporary fix
for our van window
The window is stuck in the down position-
we think a belt in the door broke.
Yeah-
it was a C-O-L-D ride to church
on Sunday morning...
*Crafted up some Valentine guys
for my Sunday School kiddos
*Exploded some Mentos in Diet Coke
on Sunday morning as we learned about
faith with the kiddos in
Children's Church
*Admired Super Dad's hunting skills-
he brought home several quail
from a recent business trip!
*Made some Olympic Spirit Fingers
for my girlies
*Continued to work on the letter M
with the littles
*Began learning about the respiratory system
in Science
*Finished the Oregon Trail
*Crafted up a
Duck Dynasty Baby Shower invitation
for a good friend
*Enjoyed playing in one of the
PRETTIEST snows
we have had here in East Tennessee
in a long, long time
