Disclaimer:
I am SO FAR BEHIND in my week in review posts!
So if for the next couple of days you are bombarded
with posts about all of the happenings in our lives,
know that your server is not messing up-
I am just catching up!
Highlights from this week include:

*Finishing up the littles
Animal Alphabet Letter C Unit
by making some cute caterpillar-patterned
necklaces

(I hope to post more about them whenever
I write about our letter C adventures...)

*Taking the girls to get their haircut at

This was Baby Girl's first time having the true
"salon" experience.

Both girls decided to get bangs cut,
and overall I think we all had a lovely time together.

*Celebrating Little Miss Sunshine's 2nd birthday

She had the sweetest party
based on the Disney show
"Minnie's Bowtique."

Her mother went all out with decorations
and fun food,
and the kiddos and I had a great time
meeting all of the special people
in Little Miss Sunshine's life.

*Began teaching a six week Lego class
at church

This year,
Sunday evenings will be host to
different classes for the K-5th grade crowd
to attend
while their parents are at different Bible study
and prayer groups.

I decided to host a laid back Lego class,
using Mary Prather's
materials.

I am SO THANKFUL to her
for providing such easy
print and go materials-
for FREE!

It has made this class
SO MUCH easier for me to teach-
and with everything else going on right now,
I NEEDED easy!

:0)

*Documented in minute increments
"A Day in the Life"
on Monday

Have I posted it yet?

Nope.

Eventually I will get the photos all edited
and copy what I wrote about.

I then would like to send it over to
Candace's blog,
to be a part of her

The posts listed there are such an encouragement
to homeschooling mamas everywhere,
and I would love to be a part of that!

*Began studying the letter D with the littles

*Started a Johnny Appleseed lapbook
with the older kiddos

*Continued learning about Earth and Physical Science
in our "Rock On!" series
by studying different soil samples
