Friday

March 28th-April 3rd

This week's highlights include:

*Continuing to get back into the "swing of things"
after dealing with the flu

and how it relates to Easter

*Decorated some blown out eggs

*Had a good visit with Nana and Papa,
which included eating Nana's chicken and noodles
and seeing The Croods with Papa

*Comforted a co-worker of Super Dad's
as she waited to see how her daughter was after
a car accident
(She was a bit beaten up, but she will be fine-
Praise the Lord!)

*Delayed our Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
for a week,
due to rain

*Celebrated Easter
by:

-Dressing in our best for the Savior

-Sharing Resurrection Eggs with my
K-1 Sunday School class

-Singing in the church's cantata

-Watching the kiddos open their Easter baskets

-Eating lunch with our extended family and friends

-Playing with real, live bunnies
at Mr. Jim and Miss Deena's house

-Having an indoor Easter Egg "grab" instead
of an outdoor Easter Egg hunt due to more rain

*Had a full house on Monday,
and thankfully the weather was nice enough
to play outside in the afternoon

*Finally colored our Easter eggs-
the day after Easter

(YAHOO for Spring Sunshine!!!)

*Got Jungle Girl up and going
Tuesday-Thursday
so she could take her standardized test
at our umbrella school

*Enjoyed a lesson and game on
Food Chains and Food Webs,
which I will share on Science Sunday

*Spent a LOVELY afternoon at a park
with my little ones
while Jungle Girl was still testing

(Again, may I proclaim, YAHOO for Spring Sunshine!!!)
