Ice Skating in Downtown K-town!

Today we had a last "hoorah" before getting back into the normal schooling routine...

All of these crazy kids (and a few adventurous adults) went on a downtown ice skating adventure!


For my three kiddos, it was their first time on the ice, and, at first, they had mixed reactions...

Jungle Girl took to the ice like a fish does to water (or a polar bear does to ice???)...

and so did Baby Girl...

Little Wild Man was a whole other story.

Before lunch, he DID NOT want to be there. Wouldn't even stick a toe near the rink.


After lunch, something changed...Perhaps all that french fry grease gave him the courage he needed...

To don his skates and make his peace with the rink!
